Responsibilities:
- Assist seniors with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Administer medications according to prescribed dosages and schedules
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper techniques and equipment
- Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors
- Keep accurate and detailed records of patient care and progress
- Communicate effectively with fellow team members and supervisors
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols
- Attend training and development programs to maintain and improve skills
- Valid certification as a CNA or NA in the state of Hawaii
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a senior care setting
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in recording vital signs and administering medications
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
