What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Staff Nurse position at Always Best Care Senior Services?
-Conduct all initial home care assessments, supervisory, and quarterly visits for all applicable clients.
- Coordinate care and create care plans for new clients.
- Re-assess and update care plans for existing clients.
- Prepare/create and conduct all In-service Training for staff monthly.
- Participate in hiring/onboarding processes to include completing weekly competency evaluations/health assessments
- Assist with audit preparation/internal auditing to ensure compliance with State Regulatory Agencies (DHEC, DHHS)
- Review, sign, and date all care logs, especially Medicaid, weekly.
- Attend staff meetings as needed and required.
- Present a professional appearance and positive attitude when interacting with clients, co-workers, and referral sources.
- Foster goodwill and teamwork amongst all employees and customers.
- Reports to the President
- Duties subject to change
Requirements:
- State of SC Nursing License for Registered Nurse in Good Standing
- Must have valid Driver's License and meet MVR requirements
- Must provide proof of Auto Liability Insurance
- Available by cell phone during business hours of 9 am - 5 pm
- Good attention to detail & knowledge of office practices and procedures
- Knowledge of computing software, including MS Office products, Matrix Care office platform, etc.
- Good interpersonal/human relations skills also, verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to coordinate and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality
- Must be organized and able to plan; must have good accounting and bookkeeping skills
- Must be a self-starter and work well with others
- Must be versatile and flexible and willing to learn and develop
- Must be able to cope under pressure
- MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK & DRUG TEST
- MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE, RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION, AND ABLE TO TRAVEL TO ALL COUNTIES WE SERVE - Anderson, Abbeville, Greenwood, McCormick, Edgefield, Saluda, Laurens, Newberry, Oconee, and Pickens
