Job Description Summary : Always Best Care Alexandria is seeking a RN Director for our in-home care company. This vital position reports to the Administrator and is responsible for preparing thorough and accurate initial assessments / reassessments and developing personalized care plans for our clients. This part-time / PRN position is ideal for a RN who desires meaningful work with flexible hours.Benefits :
- Part-time / PRN position
- Flexible work hours (weekday, weekend, and evening hours available)Compensation :
- 75 per assessment
- 65 per reassessmentEssential Job Responsibilities :
- Makes the initial evaluation visit and regularly re-evaluates the client's needs.
- Develops the plan of care and makes necessary revisions, keeping the administrator updated on the revisions.
- Informs the administrator, physician, and other relevant personnel of changes in the client's condition and needs.
- Assists the administrator with assessing the competency of caregiver staff to promote quality, continuity, and safety of client care.
- Supervises, educates, and coaches other personnel (i.e. Certified Home Health Aides) as directed by the administrator.
- Ensures compliance with all local, state, and federal laws.Qualifications :
- Possess a bachelor's degree in nursing from a state-approved or accredited program;
- Must be in good standing with the Virginia Board of Nursing;
- Possess a valid Driver's License and able to travel to clients' homes;
- Minimum of one (1) year clinical experience or home care experience, preferred;
