Duties
- Greet and assist clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage incoming calls, providing information and directing calls to the appropriate personnel.
- Schedule appointments and maintain an organized calendar for staff members.
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
- Handle correspondence, including emails and mail, ensuring timely responses.
- Proofread documents for accuracy before distribution.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Utilize phone systems effectively, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Skills
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar clerical role is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals.
- Proficient in calendar management to ensure efficient scheduling of appointments.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout the day.
- Attention to detail for proofreading documents and ensuring accuracy in communication.
- Ability to type efficiently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with phone systems and maintaining professional phone etiquette.
- Experience as a personal assistant is a plus, showcasing organizational abilities.
