PCA Personal Care Assistant/Home Health Aide

*Job Overview* We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence. This role is vital in delivering high-quality patient care and enhancing the quality of life for those we serve. *Duties* - Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. - Help with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients. - Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning and laundry, to maintain a safe and comfortable environment. - Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes in the client's condition to the healthcare team. - Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive atmosphere. - Assist with mobility and transportation needs as required. - Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of care provided. - Support hospice care when necessary, ensuring dignity and comfort during end-of-life care. *Experience* - Previous experience in home health care or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. - Familiarity with medical records management and documentation practices is beneficial. - Certification in CPR is a plus, demonstrating readiness for emergency situations. - Knowledge of patient care techniques, including monitoring vital signs and assisting with daily living activities. - Skills in meal preparation and cooking are advantageous for providing nutritious meals tailored to client needs.
