Responsibilities
- EMR System Configuration & Maintenance: Configure and maintain the EMR system to support the needs of our clinical and administrative staff, ensuring system integrity and security.
- Process Improvement & Workflow Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the EMR system, streamline workflows, and implement best practices to increase efficiency and user satisfaction.
- Project Management: Lead and manage EMR-related projects, coordinating with various departments to ensure successful planning, implementation, and completion of system upgrades and improvements.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze data from the EMR system to identify trends, report on performance, and suggest optimizations based on findings.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a liaison between clinical teams, IT staff, and external vendors, ensuring clear and effective communication regarding system updates, enhancements, and troubleshooting needs.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with EMR systems, with a demonstrated understanding of EMR configuration, workflows, and process improvement.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with EMR systems and their configurations, data reporting, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, AlayaCare, and other healthcare technology systems is preferred.
- Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical skills to assess system needs, identify improvements, and implement effective solutions.
- Project Management: Experience managing EMR-related projects with a proven ability to coordinate across teams and meet project deadlines.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with clinical and administrative staff and support end users effectively.
