The Home Health Aide plays a crucial role in providing compassionate care and support to individuals in their homes, particularly seniors and those with developmental disabilities. This position involves assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being while promoting independence. The Home Health Aide will work closely with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care tailored to each client's unique needs.
Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Monitor and record vital signs to ensure clients' health is maintained.
- Administer medications as prescribed and assist with medication management.
- Provide hospice care for clients requiring end-of-life support, ensuring comfort and dignity.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of client care activities.
- Assist clients in mobility and transfers, including lifting when necessary.
- Support clients in daily living activities, such as meal preparation and light housekeeping.
- Foster a positive relationship with clients by encouraging social interaction and participation in activities.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to develop personalized care plans.
Skills
