Dog Trainer

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dog Trainer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for training dogs of various breeds and temperaments, helping them develop good behavior and obedience skills. You will work closely with dog owners to educate them on effective training techniques and ensure a positive experience for both the dogs and their owners. A love for animals and a commitment to their well-being is essential in this rewarding position.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group training sessions for dogs, focusing on obedience, socialization, and behavior modification.
• Assess each dog's behavior and develop tailored training plans that meet their specific needs.
• Educate dog owners on proper handling techniques, training methods, and ongoing care.
• Monitor progress of dogs in training, providing feedback and adjustments as necessary.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment for both dogs and clients during training sessions.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the overall well-being of the animals in our care.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
