Always On HVAC is seeking a customer-focused, hands-on Outside Customer Service Representative to handle service-related concerns and provide on-site troubleshooting for our residential HVAC and insulation customers. This role is ideal for a problem-solver who thrives on helping people, enjoys both phone-based and in-person interactions, and is skilled in technical troubleshooting.

As the first point of contact for service-related inquiries, you will work to resolve most issues over the phone. For more complex concerns, you will travel to customers' homes to diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC and insulation system problems, ensuring a seamless customer experience.

This is a salary-based position, perfect for a self-motivated professional who wants to take ownership of customer satisfaction while traveling throughout NYC and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer customer service inquiries related to HVAC and insulation concerns via phone, email, and text.
  • Diagnose and resolve most service issues remotely by guiding customers through troubleshooting steps.
  • For unresolved issues, schedule and travel to customers' homes to perform on-site troubleshooting and ensure problem resolution.
  • Maintain detailed service records in CRM software, logging all customer interactions and service resolutions.
  • Provide excellent communication and customer education, ensuring homeowners understand their HVAC and insulation systems.
  • Collaborate with our technical service team for complex repairs or installations requiring additional support.
  • Stay knowledgeable about HVAC systems, insulation solutions, and energy efficiency best practices to provide accurate and reliable troubleshooting.
  • Uphold Always On HVAC's commitment to exceptional customer service, ensuring every homeowner has a positive experience.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of face to face sales experience required
  • Strong phone-based troubleshooting skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in a simple way.
  • Experience with in-person troubleshooting and minor repairs (HVAC or home services industry a plus).
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage a travel-based schedule efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Tech-savvy, with proficiency in CRM systems, email support tools, and mobile service applications.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout NYC and surrounding suburbs.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a strong connection to the team.
