Responsibilities
- Operate a box truck or van to deliver packages and goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring safe handling of all products.
- Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
- Utilize equipment such as hand trucks for loading and unloading heavy items.
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver, courier, or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Experience with heavy lifting and handling of large packages is a plus.
- Proficiency in route planning and navigation tools is beneficial.
- Ability to operate a hand truck and other loading equipment safely.
