What are the responsibilities and job description for the Surface Prep Technician/Cleaner position at Always There Personnel?
Surface Prep Technician needed in Mansfield, Tx. Mon-Fri (6am-3pm) some Saturday's, mandatory when needed. $18.00 per hour
1.Checking and adjusting the cleaning solutions to ensure they are at proper temperature
2.Load the racks for production
3.Prepare each load for cleaning
4.Ensure that all equipment is stocked and in proper working order, including hoses, brushes, air drills etc.
5.Clean out and refill; the acid activation tank, alkaline cleaner tanks, brass activator rinse (as necessary)
6.Report any safety issues
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1.MUST be able to read and write in English
2.MUST be able to do heavy lifting
3.MUST be able to be on your feet all day (standing and walking)
4.RELIABLE ATTENDANCE AND PUNCTUALITY ARE A MUST
5.Ability to work overtime, as needed (up to 10-hour shifts with little notice to complete production)
5.Visual inspection of parts for small defects
