We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Lineperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical lines and related equipment. Duties
- Install and maintain overhead and underground electrical lines.
- Operate bucket trucks and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform fiber splicing for communication lines as needed.
- Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members on construction sites to complete projects effectively.
- Utilize loaders, backhoes, and bulldozers for various tasks related to line installation and maintenance.
- Climb poles or structures as necessary to perform repairs or installations.
- Adhere to all safety regulations while working in potentially hazardous environments.
- Must have Class A CDL
Skills
- Proficiency in climbing techniques for utility poles or structures.
- Experience with loader operation, bucket operation, and bucket truck usage.
- Knowledge of fiber splicing techniques for telecommunications infrastructure.
- Familiarity with backhoe operation and bulldozer skills for site preparation and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, including low voltage applications.
- Ability to work effectively on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and collaboration.
