Telecommunications Project Manager

Job Summary
The Telecommunications Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and maintenance of telecommunications systems within the organization. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring that all telecommunications operations align with business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of construction-related telecommunications needs.

Duties

• Lead the design and implementation of telecommunications systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Coordinate with project teams on construction sites to assess telecommunications needs and provide solutions.
• Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all phases of telecommunications projects.
• Prepare and review contracts related to telecommunications services and equipment procurement.
• Utilize software tools such as Penguin Data, Service Fusion for project planning and documentation.
• Create schematics and detailed plans for telecommunications installations.
• Oversee construction estimating processes related to telecommunications projects.
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders to ensure project alignment and address any issues that arise.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources efficiently while adhering to quality standards.
• Manage underground crews on forecasted work.
• Work with Fiber splicers on turning up cabinet's.
• Manage cash flows.
• Track incoming and outgoing material.
• Weekly call with customer.

Skills

• Proficiency in Civil 3D and Bluebeam software for design and documentation purposes.
• Strong understanding of contract management within the telecommunications sector.
• Experience with Prolog or similar project management tools is preferred.
• Knowledge of construction site operations, including safety protocols and best practices.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong project coordination abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics related to telecommunications systems.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with team members, clients, and stakeholders.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
