Overview
The Package Handler plays a crucial role in the logistics and supply chain process, ensuring that products are accurately packaged, labeled, and prepared for shipment. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and efficiency are paramount. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling materials safely and effectively while adhering to company standards and regulations.
- Must be clean shaved daily

Duties
- To stage, fill (manually or semi-automatically), cap, label and over pack liquid, powder and hyophilized products per approved packing specifications with utilizing all required safety equipment. Complete appropriate packaging documentation per ISO procedures and deliver products to inventory.
- Fill, cap, and label chemical products.
- Follow all quality and safety procedures.
- Support quality systems.
- Trains others and work in a team setting.
Skills
- 5-6 years in chemical or packaging environment
- Mixing, labeling, working chemicals
- Must be good/understand basic math
- Basic data entry
- Basic computer skills and literacy
- Willingness to learn
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Standing for extended periods of time and repetitive movements
- Occasionally lift and or move up to 50 Ibs with lifting equipment.
- Ability to see close and long distance
- Required to wear air helmet, mask, safety shoes, apron rubber and tyvek suits, protective gloves and safety glasses/goggles while performing in this position
Good to have
- Previous SAP experience / familiarity
- Previous ISO / Pharma / biotech experience
- Physical and respirator fit required
