Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our team in a fast-paced distribution center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various warehouse tasks including inventory control, materials handling, and package preparation. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to operate warehouse equipment efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform inventory control by accurately tracking stock levels and maintaining organized storage areas.
- Handle heavy lifting and materials handling to ensure efficient movement of products within the warehouse.
- Prepare packages for shipment, ensuring that all items are properly packed and labeled.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and cherry pickers safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and maintain a clean working environment.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring timely distribution of goods.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is preferred.
- Strong skills in inventory management and control processes.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with materials handling techniques and safety protocols.
- Experience operating forklifts or cherry pickers is a plus.
- A strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy in all tasks.
- Knowledge of safety rules, ISO and GMP quality standards preferred.
- SAP experience desirable.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
