Lead Barista 

The lead barista oversees the preparation of beverages and serves grab & go fare in a friendly, clean and upbeat atmosphere. 

Main Duties: 

• Welcome and connects with every guest. 
• Prepares beverages to Alyeska standards. 
• Follows health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products. 
• Follows standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating, and storing products. 
• Performs cleaning tasks in accordance with the duty rosters and cleaning standards and works as a store team member. 
• Presents oneself professionally and demonstrates clear communication with all guests. 
• Follows cash handling procedures and cash register policies. 
• Contributes to store goals for increasing sales and improving profits. 
• Oversee the opening, side and closing duties of dining areas and ensure tables are properly set. 
• Train new waitstaff and ensure they follow restaurant policies. 
• Maintains and order suppliers 
• Conducts Inventory counts and orders supplies as needed.

• Must have or be able to obtain a Food Handlers Card within the introductory period. 

• Completion of Kaladi Barista academy upon acceptance of the position 

• Ability to effectively communicate and provide direction to restaurant employees.
