A busy working family in Coconut Grove, FL is looking for a full-time weekend Nanny/Mother’s Helper to care mainly for 2 children (3 and 18m), ASAP. They also have an older upper elementary school child that does not require much attention. They are looking for a career Nanny who must have past experience with infants (under 1), somebody who takes initiative, a team-player to work along-side the family in mostly a shared-care role, and a safe driver to take the children out and about. The family is pretty laid-back and hands-on in raising the children, so they’re looking for somebody who has a matching personality, great communicator, and somebody who loves what they do! They are hoping to find somebody who is energetic and enjoys outdoor activities as well as helping with tasks at home such as light meal prep, some pet-care, and light housekeeping. They have a full-time housekeeper and another full-time nanny. They are looking for somebody who can travel, mostly within the US, with them during some vacation and Manhattan for 1 month during the summer. Ability to travel with family internationally is a plus, but not required. All housing, meals, and travel expenses will be provided. Schedule is Full-time with an average 40 hours per week guarantee, mostly weekend Fri, Sat, Sun. Family is flexible on which days of the week (M-Th) the nanny wishes to take-off. Some weeks may be 45-50 hours a week depending on weekend activities. $30-$35 per hour, 2 weeks PTO/vacation pay, paid holidays, and some health insurance stipend offered.
