Description
The position is in Dr. David Perry’s laboratory, which seeks to improve predictive accuracy for the clinical diagnosis, prognosis, and pathological etiology of neurodegenerative diseases. The lab utilizes behavioral and neuropsychological measures, structural and functional neuroimaging, and genetic data. This position is for analysis of this data and will include the application of multivariate classification algorithms.
Requirements
Data analysis requires statistical knowledge and the ability to work within a statistical data package (such as R or Stata) to conduct data analysis. This position is required to consult scientific literature to identify the best strategies and techniques for data processing and analysis as related to study design and data collection. Implementation and comparison of relevant approaches should be done as needed with results reported to the study PI. This position is also responsible for assisting with volunteer research assistants as needed.
