The Alzheimer's Association of Greater Cincinnati serves 37 counties in Southern Ohio, Northern Kentucky and Southeastern Indiana through a variety of programs and services. The chapter provides counseling and support for families affected by Alzheimer's disease as well as educational programs for professional and family caregivers.

The Alzheimer’s Association Greater Cincinnati Chapter is part of the Alzheimer’s Association, the world's leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support and research. From its office in Cincinnati, Ohio, the Greater Cincinnati Chapter provides education and support for people diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, as well as their families and caregivers. In addition, it offers local support groups, early-stage engagement programs, community education classes and a 24/7 Helpline (800.272.3900).

Planning Walk to End Alzheimer's is a great way to give back and make a big community impact in a passionate, relentless nonprofit setting. Each year, dozens of volunteers, like you, plan five Walk to End Alzheimer's events across the Miami Valley to raise critical funds for Alzheimer's disease research, care & support programs, and policy work at the state and federal levels. Your work will support the 6 million Americans living with Alzheimer's and the millions more that love, support and care for them.

Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, Walk to End Alzheimer's is the world's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support and research.

- Become an Elite Grand Champions Club Member
- Length of Involvement 12 months
- Commit to becoming a fundraising team
- Recruit 3-5 new community teams
- Assist in recruiting back and retaining previous teams
- Cultivate and steward Champions Club
- Help build awareness about Walk to End Alzheimer's
- Organize and plan the Walk to End Alzheimer's kickoff
- Model mission fundraising by becoming a Champion
- Length of Involvement 6-8 months
- Commit to having a team
- Help secure entertainment and Walk Day volunteers
- Recruit and educate participants on AIM - Advocacy
- Incorporate Care & Support into Walk Day
- Become a Champions Club member
- Length of Involvement 3-4 months
