Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the flow of goods and services, ensuring that our supply chain operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a strong understanding of logistics, procurement processes, and supply chain management principles. The Supply Chain Specialist will work closely with various departments to optimize inventory levels, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of products.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with the identification and sourcing of potential suppliers, including conducting market research and supplier evaluations.
- Tracking supplier schedule to ensure on-time delivery
- Analyzing and comparing supplier quotations, negotiating prices, and ensuring the best value for money.
- Preparing purchase orders and ensuring accuracy in all documentation.
- Coordinating with suppliers to track and update delivery schedules, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders, such as the warehouse and finance departments, to coordinate the receipt and payment of goods.
- Maintaining and updating the purchasing database and records, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements and providing recommendations to management.
- Assisting in resolving any supplier-related issues or discrepancies, such as quality control or invoice discrepancies.
- Supporting the implementation and maintenance of procurement policies and procedures.
Required skills

Required qualifications

- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus.
- Strong mathematical skills for price analysis and cost calculations.

- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Job Type: Part Time to start.
