JOB DESCRIPTION:

AM Batteries (AMB) is seeking highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst proficient in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and accounting principles. This role will involve analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and assisting in the development and maintenance of financial models to support decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Develop, maintain, and improve financial models to support strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.

·       Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

·       Prepare detailed financial reports, including variance analysis, profitability analysis, and financial performance metrics.

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate financial information.

·       Provide support for month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.

·       Lead in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.

·       Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros).

·       Strong understanding of financial modeling techniques and best practices.

·       Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements.

·        Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

·        Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

·       Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and concisely.

·       Experience with financial analysis software or ERP systems is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

·       CPA or CFA designation is a plus.

·       Experience in a similar role in a manufacturing industry.

·       Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is advantageous.

·       Strong organizational and time-management skills.
