Job Description:
As an auto parts sales associate, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the parts sales process from start to finish. This includes working with the parts manager to locate any parts not in stock, completing special order part requests for customers, and communicating with customers on parts status. You will also be responsible for communicating with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner, following all company safety policies and procedures, and understanding and following federal, state, and local regulations applicable to the industry.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to identify problems quickly and think critically. You should also have knowledge of automobiles, basic computer skills, and the ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications. A minimum of one year in a service department is preferred, but we are open to candidates with transferable skills. You must also be able to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time. A positive, friendly attitude and high school diploma or equivalent are also required.
