Job description
Job Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning and transmission.
- Perform quality inspections of vehicles to identify necessary and recommended repairs.
- Test drive vehicle, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Communicate directly with the service advisor so that customers are informed of any additional services that may be needed.
- Participates in manufacturer sponsored training programs, schools, and events.
- Maintains and is accountable for all dealership owned tools and manuals.
- Complies with all federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know and others.
- Reports all safety issues immediately to management.
Qualifications:
- Familiar with Ford & other OEM vehicles.
- Ability to effectively communicate with others.
- Proven ability to provide exceptional client experience.
- Strong time management skills.
- Strong organization and follow-up.
- A valid driver’s license and ability to maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.
