Summary/Objective
The project manager works closely with our Operations Department as well as Subcontractors to manage processes to keep construction projects running smoothly. All while ensuring projects stay within budget without compromising safety and quality standards, as well as meeting customer, statutory/regulatory requirements.
Essential Functions
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently in and out of the office. The individual will be visiting job sites, Pre-Bid meetings, and walking around the job sites to guarantee all the correct materials will be used.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to ten pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to twenty-five pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, exempt level position. Core days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. May require some travel and overnights. On call for after hour emergencies.
Based in North Carolina/South Carolina location, but there may be some travel.

Summary/Objective

- Plan and implement projects.
- Manage budget.
- Works collectively with operations/sub-contractors and owners
- Monitor and report on project progress.
- Reports bi-weekly on progress as well as problems and solutions.
- Works with Operations to develop the project schedule.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors.
- Work with Operations to schedule and get work done.
- Deal with varying types of clients to include municipalities and private builders.
- Responsible for billing
- Responsible for contacting and managing subs.
- Communicate with homeowners.
- Create detailed cost estimates and develop high level scope summary for bids.
- Evaluate projects for constructability, engage in value-engineering for cost savings, and develop competitive strategies.

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in construction project management (CIPP) preferred.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license with clean driving record required.
- Position will require the frequent use of MS Windows 7 and/or MS Windows 10, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook
- MS Project and/or Primavera P6 Scheduling a bonus.
- Leadership/Management experience preferred.
