Warehouse Procurement

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks that support the efficient operation of our warehouse. The ideal candidate will have experience in materials management and a strong understanding of warehouse systems. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Assist in the fabrication of materials as needed for production processes.
• Procure necessary supplies and materials while adhering to company policies.
• Utilize Oracle EBS and SAP systems for inventory management and tracking.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues affecting warehouse operations and implement solutions.
• Negotiate with suppliers as required to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations during procurement processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with materials management principles and practices is advantageous.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems such as Oracle EBS or SAP is a plus.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with vendors and team members.
• Experience in contract negotiation is beneficial but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.12 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
