Lead Carpenter / Foreman (Cleanroom)
Raleigh-Durham, NC
Will consider other locations as well depending on individual interests and project needs.
This position requires onsite in-the-field client support.
Summary :
We are looking for a knowledgeable construction and carpentry professional with previous cleanroom construction expertise to support a variety of high-technology clients of ours within the semiconductor and pharmaceutical industries. This individual will be expected to work as a Project Lead with the ability to assist, maintain communication with clients and technicians, and report daily to the project manager.
Roles and Responsibilities :
Build out spreadsheets or other documentation as needed to keep all parties informed and updated on how the project is progressing.
Ability to run small and large projects and work with other subcontractors and ensure they are meeting the requirements.
Ability to work up a method of procedure MOPS, site assessment, communication with project leads and rebid prior to acceptance and implementation.
Perform all tasks to support carpentry as well as electrical, plumbing, mechanical and other responsibilities.
Assist with walls, flooring, doors, ceilings, tiles, drywall, and modular rooms.
Maintain time records, progress logs, and daily reports.
Position Requirements and Qualifications :
8 years of relevant construction experience.
Ability to use a variety of hand tools and power tools that are common with construction.
ISO / Cleanroom experience preferred.
Ability to handle physical workload.
Ability to oversee, assist, and work well in teams.
Ability to prioritize and multitask.
Strong focus and attention to team safety and communication.
Read and interpret building diagrams / blueprints.
