AMTS is looking for a proven CAD/MEP designer to support facility design for high tech and cleanroom client projects.
Responsibilities
· Responsible for supporting multi-project responsibilities for HVAC, fire protection, and specialty piping system drafting and design.
· Prepare accurate HVAC and specialty piping system construction drawings and specifications for submittal review and construction administration.
· Prepare preliminary schematics and final designs, calculations, equipment selection and layout.
· Interface with other disciplines, clients, and contractors.
Qualifications
· Associates or Bachelors Degree in CSA, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technologies, or similar degree.
· 3 years of prior work experience as a CAD/BIM designer.
· Good working knowledge of BIM software i.e. Revit, Navisworks, Sketchup, etc.
· Previous experience in MEP layout and ISO drawing production or ability to understand MEP drawings.
· Able to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
· Strong communication and presentation skills.
