Am-Tran is an employee driven courier company based in San Mateo, California. We provide high quality, on-demand and routed service to our customers throughout Northern California. Am-Tran specializes in the safe and reliable transportation of medical specimens and supplies. We keep up with changing technology and best practices in order to provide the best service to our customers.
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy Customer Service/Dispatcher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, a quick learner, and able to thrive in a fast-paced team environment. In this role, you will be the vital link between our clients and our delivery team, ensuring that all requests are handled promptly and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat with professionalism and efficiency.
- Coordinate and dispatch courier drivers to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
- Monitor delivery status and resolve any issues that arise during transit.
- Maintain accurate records of all communications and transactions.
- Utilize dispatch and tracking software to optimize delivery routes and schedules.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance service quality and efficiency.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for clients regarding our services and technology.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service or dispatching is a plus.
- Strong technical skills and comfort with software applications, specifically Google Workspace.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
