Position: Carrier Representative
Reports to: Operations Manager
Job Overview:
As a Carrier Representative, your main role will be to source and manage carrier capacity to fulfill customer transportation needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source, negotiate, and manage carrier capacity for customer shipments.
- Provide accurate, timely updates to carriers and Customer Representatives.
- Oversee shipments, coordinating with carriers to keep everyone informed.
- Build strong, lasting relationships with carriers.
- Qualify new carriers and support onboarding.
- Ensure 100% tracking of customer shipments.
- Share capacity insights with the team for optimal results.
- Stay informed on industry trends and news.
