Your Role
- Oversee shipping processes by conducting detailed audits, utilizing tools like paretos and Gemba report outs to minimize errors.
- Examine mechanical components such as wheels, slab rollers, and kiln elements, while ensuring process quality documentation.
- Coordinate cross-departmental communication for non-conformity issues and product inspections.
- Engage in internal audits and participate in continuous improvement projects like Problem Solving and Lean practices.
Are You Who We’re Looking For?
- Do you have a knack for understanding mechanical systems and a keen eye for detail?
- Are you skilled in using MS Office, comfortable with blueprints, and able to thrive both independently and in teams?
- We seek someone proactive in problem-solving with strong communication skills and the ability to handle physical tasks up to 50 lbs.
Work Environment
You must be prepared to work in varying temperatures. The responsibilities call for agility, coordination, and a clear vision, with general 20/20 eyesight being preferred.
Commitment
This full-time role demands a Monday to Thursday schedule, with occasional weekend work possible.
