Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities or in memory care
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications following proper protocols
- Uphold resident rights and promote independence and dignity
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the best care for residents
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
Skills
- Experience working in group homes, nursing homes, or retirement homes is preferred
- Knowledge of long-term care practices and procedures
- Ability to work compassionately with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Familiarity with medication administration and resident care plans
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff members
-Has experience helping with dementia care strategies and communication (REQUIRED)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 44 per week
