Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various healthcare settings, including clinics, hospitals, and long-term care facilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support patients with mobility and physical therapy exercises
- Monitor and record vital signs under the direction of healthcare professionals
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Help maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of patient care
Qualifications
- Experience working in healthcare settings such as hospitals, clinics, or long-term care facilities (REQUIRED)
- Familiarity with providing care in diverse settings including inpatient, outpatient, emergency medicine, and OR environments
- Knowledge of geriatric care practices is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to different patient needs
