Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Implement care plans tailored to individual client needs and preferences.
- Monitor and record vital signs and health changes; report any concerns to healthcare professionals.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Assist clients with mobility and physical activities, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Support clients with memory care needs through engaging activities and routines.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients by maintaining their living spaces.
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare providers regarding client progress.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in assisted living or caregiving roles, particularly with seniors or individuals with disabilities.
- Strong understanding of care plans and ability to implement them effectively.
- First aid certification is required; CPR certification is a plus.
- Experience in memory care or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for client mobility support.
- Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with clients and their families.
