Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Companion to join our team at Amada Senior Care. In this role, you will provide essential support and companionship to seniors in their homes, ensuring they live safely and comfortably. This position is vital to our mission of delivering high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients' health conditions.
- Help with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Support clients with mobility assistance and lifting when necessary.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client conditions to the supervisor.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or caregiving is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate nature are essential.
- Ability to prepare meals according to dietary needs.
- Knowledge of memory care techniques is a plus.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
- CPR certification is beneficial but not required.
