What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staffing Coordinator/Recruiter position at Amada Senior Care?
Description: A Recruiter oversees seeking out quality candidates, confirming their qualifications and placing them in open roles with the care coordinator at our company. Their duties include posting Hiring Ads, researching job seekers and inviting them to apply, screening candidates through phone screens and face to face interviews and filling out hiring paperwork, background checks, Driver’s License checks, copying all required documents, creating caregiver chart and maintaining up to date information, answering phones, weekly orientation and training with new hires, sending weekly recruitment tracking forms. They should foster good relationships with recruits and area schools that provide education for Care Companions, Home Health Aides and CNAs. Support the care coordinator with placing caregivers with clients, attending job fairs and hiring events.
Skills: A recruiter needs to have strong people skills and the ability to process information quickly and efficiently. Able to maintain caregiver records, monthly spreadsheet of new hires and other healthcare credentials. Strong computer skills such as Excel and the ability to learn new programs that are essential to the operation of the agency
Candidates should also have experience in the Home Health field. Experience as a caregiver, HHA or CNA is preferred.
