**Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated Equine and Livestock Caretaker to join our team.
60 horse private boarding facility near Green Valley.
Main Responsibilities:
- Feeding Hay and Grain, Watering, Stall cleaning, Occasional general barn maintenance, Checking horses in Pasture, Checking Pasture Waters and Fence lines
Skills and Requirements:
- Basic Horse Handling Skills
- Keen Eye for Recognizing Health Issues
- Administering Basic Health Treatments
- Recognizing Behavioral Signs of Illness
- Equine Nutrition
- If individual has advanced riding experience, position may include some exercising of horses.
- Requires walking over a large area in all weather, being able to lift up to 80lbs.
General ranch maintenance may include: building and repairing fence, irrigation of pastures, landscaping, check water and fence lines, knowledge of electric fence helpful, welding, drag arenas, painting, etc.
Operating equipment: tractors, irrigation equipment.
Machinery maintenance use and repair.
Must be non smoking, drug free, no pets at jobsite.

- Drive a tractor and operate implements
- Ability to problem solve and make decisions
- Effectively communicate with co-workers and customers
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
