We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Gardener to join our team. This role involves hands-on work in both garden and landscape settings, ensuring the health and beauty of our green spaces.
Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks, including planting, weeding, pruning, and mulching.
- Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and gardens.
- Utilize hand tools effectively for various gardening tasks.
- Assist in the growing of plants in greenhouses, ensuring optimal conditions for growth.
- Conduct lawn care activities such as mowing, fertilizing, and aerating.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of gardening tools and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members on larger landscaping projects and groundskeeping duties.
- Monitor plant health and identify any issues related to pests or diseases.
Experience
- Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, or farming is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices and techniques is a plus.
- Knowledge of plant types, growth requirements, and care techniques is beneficial.
- Ability to operate basic gardening tools and equipment safely.
- Strong physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- A genuine passion for gardening and a willingness to learn new skills related to horticulture.
