Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Coach to join our Boy's Varsity Football team. This individual will be responsible for assisting the head coach in developing and implementing game plans, as well as mentoring student-athletes to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the head coach in developing and implementing game plans, including preparing players for competition and analyzing opponents' strengths and weaknesses.
- Mentor student-athletes to develop their skills, build their confidence, and foster a positive team culture.
- Conduct practices and training sessions that promote player safety, physical fitness, and sportsmanship.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff members to ensure a cohesive and effective coaching team.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience coaching football at the high school level.
- Strong knowledge of football strategies, techniques, and rules.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
