What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Dietitian position at Amae Health?
Transforming the lives of those affected by severe mental illness
At Amae Health, we are dedicated to helping the 15.4 million Americans living with severe mental illness (SMI) lead stable, meaningful lives, while ending the cycle of repeat hospitalizations. In partnership with some of the nation's top academic medical centers, we’ve pioneered an innovative outpatient care model that combines compassionate, in-person psychiatric care with comprehensive wraparound support. Our integrated care teams — including psychiatrists, therapists, primary care physicians, dietitians/health coaches, and peer support specialists — work together to treat the whole person via a unique model, addressing physical, mental, and social needs in unison. By caring for every aspect of our patients’ well-being, we help them not just survive, but truly thrive.
We’re Hiring!
Amae Health is opening our first Northern California clinic, and are hiring a Registered Dietitian to join our integrated team in providing exceptional, wraparound support to our complex adult patients.

Via individual and group coaching sessions, our goal is to help patients maintain their treatment goals, and give them the tools to reduce stress and improve mindfulness, nutrition and medication adherence and increase physical exercise.
About You
Human-centered and empathetic, you take an individualized and patient centered approach to your work. You are passionate about educating and empowering patients, and take great pride in seeing how evidence-based dietary guidance can drastically improve the quality of life for complex patient populations. You are a team-player, thrive in a collaborative environment, and are excited about being part of a team that is redefining how we care for patients with SMI.
