Amaero Advanced Materials & Manufacturing, Inc. (The “Company”) is seeking a detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and upkeep of industrial equipment, machinery critical to the production process. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, mechanical and electrical expertise, and a proactive approach to preventive maintenance to ensure minimal downtime and efficient operations.
JOB LOCATION: 130 Innovation Drive SW, McDonald, TN 37353
KEY DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITES:
· Perform Maintenance Work Orders & Troubleshooting of Industrial Equipment.
· Perform Lock Out Tagout (LOTO) Procedures.
· Maintain accurate notes on equipment regarding repairs and troubleshooting.
· Maintain a clean and contaminant free work environment.
· Other duties as directed by the Maintenance Manager
SKILLS:
· Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and facility systems.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
· Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
· Conduct inspections and routine maintenance to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
· Install, align, and dismantle industrial machinery and equipment.
· Diagnose equipment malfunctions and recommend corrective actions.
· Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and other automation systems.
· Fabricate and modify machine parts as needed using various hand tools, power tools, and industrial equipment.
· Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work orders, parts inventory, and service logs.
· Follow and enforce safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
· Collaborate with engineers, production staff, and other technicians to optimize equipment performance.
· Assist in developing and improving preventive maintenance programs.
· Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize downtime.
· Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends and overtime as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a metal powder production, foundry, or manufacturing environment.
· HSD, Millwrights Certification preferred
· Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
· Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
· Experience with welding, machining, and fabrication techniques is a plus.
· Proficient in troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment failures.
· Must be able to stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, and lift up to 55 lbs. during a 10-hour shift.
