Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy and Development
- Develop and execute the product roadmap for managed services tools to drive operational efficiency and scalability
- Define and communicate the unique value propositions (USPs) of Amagi Managed Services to establish market differentiation
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify gaps and opportunities, translating insights into strategies that position Amagi's Managed Services as a superior offering in the market
- Define and oversee satellite, fiber & IP connectivity globally, ensuring seamless distribution from the cloud to multiple points of presence (PoPs)
- Collaborate with engineering teams to establish robust, scalable architecture for connectivity to critical PoPs globally
- Architect connectivity solutions for key MVPDs, cable, OTA operators, and uplink providers, ensuring Amagi becomes a trusted delivery partner
- Drive initiatives to ensure Amagi is recognized as an approved delivery partner by key MVPDs, cable operators, and uplink providers
- Develop and promote standards, SLAs, and best practices that demonstrate the reliability, scalability, and quality of Amagi's Managed Services
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to showcase the value and effectiveness of managed services in driving customer success
Experience and Skills
- 15 years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years in broadcast, media, or cloud-based solutions
- Proven expertise in managed services for content distribution, including connectivity to MVPDs, cable operators, OTA, and uplink providers
- Strong technical understanding of fiber connectivity, cloud distribution, and architectural frameworks for global PoPs
- Demonstrated ability to define USPs and build competitive differentiation in the managed services domain
- Experience in engaging with operators to achieve preferred delivery partner status
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and align cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and sales
- Strong stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally, to drive partnerships and strategic initiatives
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor/Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (MBA preferred)
