Amalga Job Description
Position: Painter, 1st Shift
Starting Salary: $25.00 - $29.00 based on experience raises after 3 and 6 months.
Duties:
Prepare and apply paints, lacquers, or enamels to products where medium to high quality finish is required.
Thin paints to proper consistency and viscosity for spraying and adjust equipment to obtain the finish requirements and economy.
Prior to painting, examine products to be sure they meet specifications.
Painter is required to prepare product surface and masking of products prior to painting.
Maintain and keep equipment and area in a safe, clean condition and working order.
Work is subject to process and final inspections.
Minimum Education or Certificate Requirement: High School diploma or G.E.D.
Minimum Time in Equivalent Position: Four months preferred.
Required Skills: Reading, writing, basic math, ability to carry up to 50 pounds, ability to stand at machine for full shift.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
