Overview
Amalgamated Life Insurance Company (Amalgamated) provides Life Insurance, Accident, Disability, Stop Loss and Voluntary Benefits products to both Taft-Hartley and Non-Taft-Hartley clients. By maintaining a strong focus on service, effective communication and attention to detail, as a Part Time Marketing Specialist at Amalgamated, you will play a pivotal role in our continued success.
The Marketing Specialist will report directly to the Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Marketing. The Specialist will work with all levels of management and staff in the fulfillment of various marketing functions and projects. The Specialist will assist the AVP in the development of internal and external communications and coordinate various communications for Amalgamated and its affiliates.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns to reach target audiences
- Manage marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, email and traditional media
- Create engaging and effective marketing materials including website copy, LinkedIn posts, email newsletters and advertising materials
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, product and customer service, to achieve market objectives
- Maintain brand consistency and ensure that all marketing materials adhere to brand guidelines
- Draft/edit internal and external communication
Qualifications
- Minimum 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience
- Proven success operating in a fast-paced, corporate environment
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritize projects and deliverables
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Pay: Up to $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
