Operations Training Supervisor

The Amalgamated Sugar Company is seeking an Operations Training Supervisor at our Twin Falls factory. This role develops and executes employee training and development in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the goals of the company and training team. The Operations Training Supervisor provides employees with the necessary knowledge and training to quickly achieve proficiency in a job position and allow them to gain a greater level of understanding of factory operations. This position will report directly to the Operations Training Manager.

Additional Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the safety department to deliver safety training at the forefront of all operational training programs
• Develop, implement, oversee, employee training and development programs
• Develop, maintain, and train employees on work instructions as needed
• Monitor, evaluate, and adapt all training programs for effectiveness
• Develop and maintain task-specific One-Point Lessons and Work Instructions for defined job tasks.
• Develop and maintain job packets
• Leverage the knowledge of individuals in all departments to contribute to the job packets
• Review all training material for safe work practices, compliance with company policies, accuracy, and thoroughness
• Leverage the knowledge of individuals in all departments to contribute to the job packets
• Coordinate with supervisors to schedule employee training and testing
• Collaborate with the training teams of other factories to develop standardized training material, techniques, and procedures
• Track employee training progression and record testing and evaluation results
• Supervise assigned employees to help accomplish training This includes responsibilities related to personnel scheduling, time management, discipline, performance reviews, and other supervisorial duties as required
• Collaborate with technical writing contractors to format and edit all training documents
• Report to the Operations Training Manager for team goals and guidance
• Submit reports to the Operations Training Manager to track progress towards team goals
• Perform other duties as assigned
  
  

Qualifications

• Completion of high school
• Minimum 5 years of experience in factory operations and Extensive knowledge of factory operations and procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, etc. Ability of document creation and spreadsheet management
• Strong organizational and project management skills
