Amalgamated Sugar Company – Ovid, CO
Amalgamated Sugar Company is seeking warehouse personnel to load and unload railcars and trucks of bagged sugar to maintain an inventory of products to meet the needs of various customers. This position will report to the Warehouse Manager.
More specifically, the successful candidate will clean, inspect, and prepare bulk railcars and/or trucks for the loading of sugar, receive bulk railcars and prepare for transfer of sugar to bulk trucks to be shipped to various customers, insure that all railcars and trucks are properly weighed, sealed, and all paperwork is accurately filled out and given to the clerk for keying into the system and maintain a safe working environment by following all the safety rules and procedures including the effective use of all safety devices and equipment.
Additional responsibilities include keeping proper documentation on all orders and maintain proper inventory control procedures, coordinate with the railroad on switches of inbound railcars and properly releasing those cars as product is removed, maintain AIB and/or SQF standards throughout the warehouse and storage facilities and assist in the maintenance, sanitation, and overall cleanliness of the warehouse and surrounding grounds.

Qualifications:
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
· Experience with push pull/slip sheet attachment a plus.
· Previous food grade and safety training a plus, bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
