What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance Planner position at Amalgamated Sugar?
Amalgamated Sugar Company is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance Planner at our Mini Cassia Factory in Paul, Idaho. Reporting to the Planning & Scheduling Supervisor, the E&I Maintenance Planner will be responsible for planning safe field execution of routine maintenance on all process equipment and facilities. This role contributes to the success of the organization by improving the mechanical integrity of factory assets and cost management through effective remediation planning of identified equipment deficiencies and preventative & predictive work scope. The planner will work closely with the operations, maintenance & safety teams. The Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance Planner will be a key contributor to other factory and company initiatives.

Additional Responsibilities :
- Follow and Champion all factory and company safety rules and policies
- Advance identified work to executable work orders for the trade team
- Applies actual field condition information, relevant technical data, trade knowledge, personal experience, and where appropriate, input from maintenance, operations, and technical resources to develop high quality executable plans
- Ensures all plans developed are consistent with the Amalgamated planning This will include safety procedures, maintenance standards / procedures, identification of required resources, estimated task durations & relationships, materials, equipment, and services required to execute the work identified
- Assembly of fully planned work into formal job packages for transport to Department Maintenance Groups, Services Group, and Projects Group for execution
- The planner is expected to report his / her progress on a weekly basis and communicate any issues that are preventing plans from progressing
- Following the appropriate training, be able to effectively use required JDE functionality to meet requirements of the position
- Development & maintain job library to ensure complete and accurate records consistent with Amalgamated planning standards
- Work directly with trade supervisor to ensure appropriate content and detail provided in work plans
- Submit purchase requisitions, specify material call outs, read technical prints
- Participation in Amalgamated' s safety programs and factory safety
Reports all safety concerns and takes corrective action for a safety hazard identified that could impact themselves or others
