JOB SUMMARY
The Bolts Blue Crew serve as brand ambassadors for the Tampa Bay Lightning, engaging fans in the community, in-arena and at team events. The Bolts Blue Crew is comprised of energetic, outgoing and confident individuals who use their unique talents, personalities, and performance skills to help create world-class fan engagements while serving as an extension of the Tampa Bay Lightning brand.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To create a welcoming, fun and energetic atmosphere at our games, and in the community, by providing inspiration, enthusiasm, and spirit for the Tampa Bay Lightning
- To exemplify a positive attitude, healthy lifestyle, strong work ethic, commitment, and determination
- To connect with the community as ambassadors dedicated to supporting the team’s outreach and charitable initiatives
GAME/EVENT RESPONSIBILITIES
- Welcoming fans and interacting with guests
- Executing sponsored activations such as contestant games, on-ice games, and distributing give-away items
- Entertaining and encouraging fans to cheer for the team
- Posing for photos with fans
- Assisting in-game talent such as hosts and mascots
- Maintenance of game presentation props and working areas
QUALIFICATIONS
- General knowledge of the NHL and Tampa Bay Lightning
- Time management skills
- Energetic personality that is able to work collaboratively with a large team
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to service guests
- Can entertain in front of large groups of people
- Can commit to approximately 75% of the Tampa Bay Lightning home game schedule
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Indoor and outdoor physical activities for an average of 5 hours
- Ability to lift a maximum of 50 pounds
- Ability to climb stairs and move quickly
- Ice Skating ability (optional)
