Role
Amangiri is seeking a Guest Assistant to join our Front Office team in Canyon Point, Utah. This role plays a key part in delivering warm, attentive, and seamless service from arrival to departure. The Guest Assistant reports to the Front Office Manager and works closely with multiple departments to ensure each guest enjoys a personalised and memorable stay.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests by name, offer a personalised welcome, and escort them to their room.
- Assist with guest reservations, activity itineraries, and pre-arrival recommendations.
- Conduct daily inspections of arrival rooms to ensure quality standards are met.
- Prepare registration documents and verify guest bills prior to departure.
- Manage guest arrivals, departures, and room changes in coordination with Housekeeping.
- Monitor and support guest itineraries and provide relevant vouchers for activities.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve concerns with a professional and empathetic approach.
- Record guest history and preferences, and share pertinent information with other departments.
- Answer all phone calls in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Maintain a tidy and organised work area, lobby, and library.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Friendly, engaging, and service-oriented personality.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to remain composed under pressure and manage guest concerns confidently.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 45 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Culturally aware with a collaborative and respectful approach to teamwork.
- Ability to handle confidential guest information responsibly.
- Additional language skills are a plus.
- Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
