Compensation: $15/hour
Hours: 10-15 hours per week (additional hours required during event weeks)

Amana Colonies Festivals Inc. is seeking a motivated and creative Event Planning & Marketing Intern to assist with festival operations and marketing initiatives. This hands-on internship is perfect for students or recent graduates interested in event management, marketing, and social media.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in event planning logistics and operations leading up to and during festivals.
- Help manage event social media marketing, including creating a social media content calendar and posting on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Support event days with on-site tasks and festival operations.
- Attend and assist Amana Colonies Wurst Festival (June 13-14), Kinderfest (July 12), and Oktoberfest (October 2-5).
- Collaborate with Event Coordinator to develop creative promotional strategies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in event planning, marketing, and social media.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including extended hours during event weeks.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Workplace, and Canva
