JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
Our machine operators are responsible for the proper operation of any machine assigned by the foreman and performing any associated duties such as inspection of parts and proper completion of all related paperwork.
Essential Functions

- Ability to load parts into machinery ensuring that a quality finished product is created
- Regularly inspect finished product using various gauges, and notify quality department if parts do not meet specifications
- Correctly document daily production results and any associated downtime
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching all day. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move items over 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. The hours of work are Monday through Friday, 1st Shift - 6:00AM to 2:30PM; 2nd Shift – 3:30PM to 12:00AM - 40 hours per week plus overtime when necessary.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education and Experience
- 1 year of factory-related experience in a manufacturing environment
